Something Big Is Coming

It is certainly true that something big is coming to Glendale, to Colorado, to the United States.

Professional rugby has arrived in 2018. In many ways, however, rugby at the highest level has been in Glendale for more than a decade. Founded in 2007, the Glendale Raptors Rugby Football Club is building an unstoppable future on an already impressive history of distinction.

2018 will be Glendale’s biggest year yet: with the launch of Major League Rugby, the Raptors are entering a new era. Partnered with national broadcaster CBS Sports, Raptors rugby will be seen across the country. The live game day experience is not to be missed either, directly and meaningfully engaging with rugby fans. In addition to hard-hitting, non-stop professional rugby action, attendees can expect plenty at a Raptors match. Beginning with a two-hour pregame celebration, fans can interact with coaches, players, and the mascot; enjoy face painting and temporary tattoos, half time activities, merchandise, and gourmet food vendors. There is truly something for everyone at a Raptors match.

With Infinity Park as their home, site of the first rugby-specific stadium in the country, the Raptors have access to exceptional, state-of-the-art facilities. For more than a decade Glendale’s rugby programming has attracted and recruited the top rugby talent from the U.S. and abroad, producing exceptional, championship-winning teams. The Glendale Raptors and Infinity Park are poised to become the flagship professional rugby team in the United States.
